BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid is meeting with health secretary Jeremy Hunt and the chief executive of NHS Improvement, Jim Mackey about the future of hospitals in the area.
A number of Worcestershire MPs have been invited to the meeting where NHS Improvement will be presenting its plan for securing the services provided by Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust in the future.
Mr Javid said: “Doctors and nurses in Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust work incredibly hard to care for patients. It’s important that we have a long term plan to support their work if we are to ensure safe and reliable treatment for all. I look forward to discussing this with the health secretary and will continue to emphasise the importance of services at the Alex for our community.”
