I’d like to wish all of my constituents a wonderful Christmas.
For me, a highlight from this year’s festive season was popping into the various Christmas fairs and festivals held throughout Bromsgrove. The Friends of St John’s Church and Bromsgrove District Council did a brilliant job in ensuring that Bromsgrove Christmas Market was such a success, and the Alvechurch Christmas Tree Festival was a vibrant and inspiring event, that provided essential support to the homeless this winter.
I’d also like to wish you a peaceful and prosperous New Year. The start of the New Year is a time in which we reflect on the past and look forward to the months ahead.
Reflecting over the past month, I recently held my third annual Pensioners’ Fair, with the simple aim of bringing local organisations, the elderly, their family and friends all together, to showcase the support available for retirees in our community.
For those of you looking ahead for new opportunities, I am delighted to be holding my 4th Annual Jobs Fair in the spring. The event will bring together a wide range of local businesses with people looking for a new job or career change.
Whatever 2019 brings, please remember that I’m always here if you need my help. Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
