On Monday I announced my intention to ban Hizballah and other terrorist organisations.
As Home Secretary my first priority is always to protect the British people, which is why subject to Parliament’s approval, being a member of or inviting support for Hizballah will be a criminal offence from Friday, carrying a sentence of up to 10 years’ imprisonment.
